What if You Were Always Worthy? Self-Worth Through 9D Breathwork!

We live in a world that rewards appearance, performance, and perfection - yet quietly ignores how many of us feel broken underneath.

Women who overgive. Men who shut down. Teens who feel like they are already falling behind. I see it every day - in my therapy room and my breathwork circles. The common thread? A quiet but powerful belief “I’m not enough as I am”.

Whether you call it burnout, on the go, anxiety, insecurity or people-pleasing - at the core is a loss of self-worth. And no matter how well we hide it, it always finds its way to show up - in our bodies, our relationships, our choices, and our breath.

But here is what I know to be true: You were never broken. You have only been carrying beliefs that don’t belong to you.

This blog is for the woman who can’t stop overthinking. For the man who is tired of escaping but doesn’t know how to stay. For the teen girl who is already doubting her voice. And for every soul ready to reclaim their worth - starting from within. Starts with the breath.

I invite you to read the points below and see what resonates with you…

WOMEN:
Emotional Signs

- constant self-doubt and second-guessing herself
- feeling “not good enough” no matter how hard she tries
- comparing herself to others and always falling short
- struggling to receive compliments or kind words
- feeling unlovable or like a burden

Mental Patterns
- harsh critic: “You are stupid”, “You always mess up”
- believing her worth depends on looks, status, or external validation
- minimising achievements or success (“It was nothing”)
- apologising all the time - even when she is not at fault
- over thinking every word or action, especially around others

Behavioural Patterns
- Saying yes to things she doesn’t want to do (people-pleasing)
- tolerating poor treatment or disrespect in relationship
- staying small or invisible in groups, afraid to speak up
- over giving to be likes, needed or accepted

Physical and Energetic Presence
- hunched or closed off body language
- difficulty making eye contact
- quiet voice or hesitant tone
- dressing to hide rather that express
- walking like she’s apologising for existing

In Relationships
- choosing partners who reflect her lack of self-worth (emotionally unavailable, disrespectful, or controlling)
- confusing love with sacrifice or pain
- believing she has to “earn” love or affection
- staying in toxic dynamics because she thinks that’s all she deserves

Lifestyle of a Woman with a Low Self-Worth
- no boundaries - no time for herself or ignores those closest to her
- always available for others
- says yes even when exhausted
- her schedule revolves around family, partner, boss etc - not her dreams
- may attach to someone else’s lifestyle or vision because she hasn’t claimed her own

But Inside Her, she often has a deep well of love, creativity, and power - but its buried, showing up as conditioning, shame, or emotional wounds. She might feel lost, but her soul is whispering: There’s more than this. You were made for more:.

MEN:
Males with no self-worth or low self-worth
also suffer deeply, but its often masked - by ego, silence, people pleasing, or withdrawal. They are taught to “tough it out”, so their pain hides under the surface, affecting part of their life.

Here is how a low self-worth shows up in a man, especially one who hasn’t done their inner healing:

Emotional Signs:
- feels like he constantly falls short but wont say it out loud
- deep fear of failure, rejection, or being exposed to “not enough”
- numbs emotions through work, substances, gaming or casual sex
- avoids vulnerability - equates it with weakness

Mindset & Identity
- self-worth tied to performance, status, money, or how much he can “provide”
- harsh inner critic: “You are not a real man”, “You will never measure up”
- believes he must suffer in silence or solve everything alone
- feels shame around needing help, softness or emotional connection

Lifestyle Patterns:
- overworks or stays busy to avoid stillness (because silence feels unsafe)
- doesn’t invest in health, purpose or passions - feels unworthy of pleasure
- avoids self-care as sees it as feminine or self-indulgent
- often lives in survival mode: reactive, defensive, disconnected from vision
- has no personal rhythm or lifestyle - mirrors someone else’s or gets stuck in default routines

Relationship Dynamics:
- people-pleases or avoids conflict - loses himself trying to keep others happy
- attract co-dependent or chaotic friendships/ partnerships that reinforce his self-doubt
- sabotages good love because he doesn’t believe he is truly worthy of it
- struggles to lead with integrity - swings between passive and control
- shuts down instead of expressing hurt or insecurity

Energetic Presence:
- either overcompensates with bravado or becomes invisible
- tension in the body - rigid posture, clenched jaw, anxious energy
- may seem confident but energy feels heavy, guarded, or tired
- often lacks a clear sense of purpose or direction - wandering, ungrounded

Deep Down…

He longs to feel enough. To be respected, loved, seen without performance. But uintil he heals his self-worth, he will either:
- keep chasing things that never fill him
- or shrink into a life that doesn’t challenge or nourish him
